In August 2023, Me Alexandra Gravelle joined Juriseo Avocats, after practicing primarily in family law in a private firm. A member of the Quebec Bar since 2021, Me Gravelle favors alternatives to judicial proceedings whenever possible. In addition to appearing before the courts, she proactively engages in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as settlement conferences, negotiations, and others.
She is distinguished by a particular sensitivity toward vulnerable individuals, especially children at the heart of parental conflicts and victims of coercive control or violence. Committed to providing tailored and compassionate support, she regularly pursues training in domestic violence, coercive control, and children’s rights to refine her practice.
Mtre. Gravelle litigates notably in Laval, Montreal, Longueuil, and Joliette. Deeply involved in her community, she serves on the boards of directors for the Association du Jeune Barreau de Laval, the Association des Jeunes Barreaux de Région, and the Barreau de Laval. Notably, she contributed to the establishment of a satellite office for the Jeune Barreau de Montréal’s telephone legal clinic in Laval, collaborated on various projects with Info Justice (formerly the Laval–Laurentides–Lanaudière Community Justice Center), co-founded the Laval Municipal Court Support Program, and participated in the Family Law Duty Counsel Service. She is also in her second year serving on the selection committee for the Fondation du Barreau du Québec’s Perseverance Scholarship.
Dynamic and attentive, Mtre. Gravelle uses her professional and volunteer expertise to propose the most appropriate solutions for her clients. A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Université de Sherbrooke, she is bilingual and practices in both French and English.
