A seasoned litigator, Michaël Lévesque represents businesses and individuals before Quebec courts, both at trial and appellate levels.
While he quickly takes the offensive when necessary, Mr. Lévesque is a skilled negotiator with pragmatic and decisive knowledge regarding the outcome of out-of-court settlements and settlement conferences, in which he frequently participates. He is also recognized for providing candid advice to his clients and for his commitment to his cases.
Mr. Lévesque is highly regarded by the business community on Montreal’s North Shore and benefits from an extensive network of contacts that he leverages for the benefit of his clients and associates.
Michaël Lévesque practices in civil litigation, particularly in construction law, real estate law, and latent defect claims. He is also an accredited trainer with the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) and has provided training to real estate brokers. He also intervenes in commercial law matters, where he advises and acts on share acquisitions and sales.
Furthermore, Mr. Lévesque is president of the Association des jeunes barreaux de région (AJBR) and is past president of the Young Bar of the judicial district of Laval.
Michaël is perfectly bilingual. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Université de Montréal and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2015.
