In August 2023, Attorney Alexandra Gravelle joined Juriseo Avocats, having priorly concentrated her career in family law within her own practice. While she handles contentious cases, Ms. Gravelle aims to employ alternative dispute resolution techniques whenever feasible. Beyond courtroom litigation, she actively engages in alternative conflict resolution strategies, including amicable settlement conferences, negotiations, and the like.
She is also deeply committed to her community, serving voluntarily on the boards of the Young Bar Association of Laval and the Regional Young Bar Associations, and participating in multiple committees. Her contributions have thus far encompassed:
- Establishing a Laval satellite office for the telephone legal clinic of the Young Bar of Montreal;
- Coordinating educational activities aimed at younger lawyers, including sessions with judicial figures;
- Collaborating closely on diverse projects with young lawyers across the province;
- Working on various initiatives in partnership with the Laval-Laurentides-Lanaudière Center for Proximity Justice to expand services to the community;
- Offering legal advice to unrepresented individuals through the Family Law Duty Counsel Service at the Laval courthouse;
- Etc.
Driven and responsive, Ms. Gravelle leverages her professional and volunteer background to tailor the most fitting solutions for her clients.
Ms. Alexandra Gravelle graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Sherbrooke and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2021. She is bilingual, proficient in both French and English.
