Me Lorraine Talbot graduated in law from the University of Montreal and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1982.

She has been practicing law in Terrebonne since 1983 and in her early days, she touched on several areas of practice to arrive over the years to develop a practice concentrated mainly in two areas, namely personal and family law and construction.

As a family lawyer, in addition to representing clients and pleading before the courts for disputes resulting from the separation or misunderstanding of couples, she has also piloted cases of adoption, youth protection, protection of persons incapacitated and files of inheritance disputes. She became an Accredited Family Mediator in 2002.

During her years of practice, Me Talbot was a committed and involved actor in the Moulin community, sitting on several boards of directors of community and charitable organizations. She also sat on the Board of Directors of the CLDEM until its integration into the MRC Les Moulins.

Wishing to share her experience, she has collaborated since 2010 with Les Éditions Yvon Blais in the writing of texts and commentaries intended for the legal community and she is in particular co-author of a book published by Éditions Yvon Blais entitled “The responsibility of pre-purchase inspector.

Following the publication of this work, she was called upon to give conferences on this subject as well as training sessions accredited by the Barreau du Québec. Finally, she has also collaborated as a speaker with the University of the Third Age headed by the University of Sherbrooke.

Since March 2022, Me Talbot has acted as legal counsel for Juriseo Avocats.
